Global Operations Associate

The Opportunity

Flexport's Global Operations team manages customer supply chains end-to-end. As a Global Operations Associate, you will be responsible for the ownership and execution of the end-to-end movement of global shipments within a regional network, including Ocean less than and full container load (LCL and FCL), Ocean imports and Air imports and exports.

Responsibilities

• Be the front line to ensure the highest standard of Flexport quality: shipments move on-time and exceptions are handled appropriately.
• Ensure work satisfies internal KPIs and SLAs that demonstrate quality delivery.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Own the client experience; solve client issues quickly and ensure smooth operations at origin and destination, escalating issues as needed.
• Coordinate day-to-day logistics operations with internal and external partners.
• Execute the end-to-end movement of freight shipments within a regional network (both imports and exports), including intermodal movements.
• Assist in managing shipments with partners.
• Quote and invoice client shipments with responsibility to their P&L.
• Participate in QBR and MBR presentation prep and hold client operational calls when necessary.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, ocean carrier operations, or consulting (ocean freight knowledge is a plus).
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Adaptable to new technology and fast-paced environment.
• Effective time management and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English.
• A compliance-first attitude.
