The Technical Artist is a bridge between artists and engineers. The role involves art production workflows, tools, pipelines, asset optimisation/integration, and shader development. The ideal candidate will have experience working in game engines and driving feature development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new and existing experiences on EA SPORTS FC
- Work closely with artists, project managers, and software engineers
- Assume ownership of technical issues and bring them to resolution
- Script/programme in Python and C#
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of cinematic/games production experience
- Game engine experience in environment creation is preferred
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is desired
- Effective communication with different audiences
- Extensive experience scripting/programming in Python and C#
- Knowledge of 3D art packages (Maya)
- Solutions-provider, particularly in testing and debugging technical issues
- Willingness to jump into the unknown and solve new problems
