Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our team at Gosforth Shopping Centre. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for cleaning the shopping centre mall and associated areas, including hoovering, mopping, using a ride-on floor machine, and toilet cleaning. You will also empty waste and top up consumables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and smart appearance, wearing the company uniform at all times
• Ensure cleaning duties are carried out in accordance with BICSc standards
• Follow ABM's Health and Safety procedures
• Carry out cleaning duties as directed by the team leader
• Work in a proactive manner, supporting colleagues and suggesting improvements to working practices
• Undertake ad hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Excellent attendance
• Ability to work to routine schedules
• Proactive and able to find tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent timekeeping
• Good communication skills
