Cleaning Officer

We are seeking a Cleaning Officer to play a key role in the delivery of cleaning standards within a commercial building located on Argyle Street, Glasgow.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning offices and communal areas, including hoovering, mopping, desk wiping, kitchen, and toilet cleaning. You will also be required to empty waste and top up consumables.

Key responsibilities:

• Dusting, wiping, and disinfecting desks and all surfaces
• Scrubbing kitchens and toilets
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Disinfecting all high touch points
• Detail work i.e. skirtings, sills, fixtures etc.
• Following group and company policies and procedures
• Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment
• Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received
• Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and/or via your divisional incident reporting system

Requirements:

• Good communication skills
