Electrician

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Electrician to support maintenance operations across a large, busy site in Belfast. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the electrical systems at our client sites, attending to breakdowns, completing EICR remedials, and engaging in planned preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) checks on electrical systems and equipment in line with schedules.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, wear, damage, or safety hazards.
• Complete basic fault finding and carry out minor repairs where appropriate.
• Undertake small maintenance tasks, including replacing lamps, switches, sockets, and minor components.
• Accurately record findings, actions, and reports using maintenance systems or logbooks.
• Liaise with on-site contractors to ensure relevant information is gathered, shared, and communicated effectively between teams.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and site procedures.

Requirements:

• City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Electrical Installation & City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Proven experience as an Electrician, with a track record of successfully addressing breakdowns, electrical installation tasks, and remedial works.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and safety standards.
