PayPal's Developer Experience team builds the APIs, tools, and infrastructure that let developers integrate PayPal into their applications.
As a Senior/Lead Technical Product Manager, you will own the Developer Tools & Platform, the technical foundation for all of DevEx.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Uses data to build insights on product or platform requirements consistent with the shared vision for the product.
- Gathers insights from the customer experience and customer needs to input to product requirements.
- Analyzes research, market analysis, and usability studies to support data-driven decision making.
- Monitors product profitability measures, including budget.
- Leads sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to drive execution.
- Partners with content developers, data scientists, product designers, and user experience researchers to identify new opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree.
Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:
- A senior or lead-level Technical Product Manager profile with a strong engineering background.
- Familiarity with REST APIs is required.
- Experience owning an API, platform, or developer-facing service, including backward compatibility and release policy.
- Deep empathy for developers and understanding of how they evaluate, adopt, and use tools.
- Ecosystem instincts with the judgment to see which capability, surface, or investment unlocks the most value next.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A bias for shipping and continuous learning.

Salary:
- San Jose, California: $143,500.00 - $212,850.00 Annually
