Staff Data & Analytics Engineer, Domain Enablement (R6112)

Shield AI is seeking a Staff Data & Analytics Engineer, Domain Enablement to lead discovery, scope high-value data and analytics opportunities, and deliver governed data products. The role focuses on Supply Chain and Manufacturing initially, with potential expansion to other domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and end-to-end enablement for complex Supply Chain and Manufacturing domains
• Partner with business leaders to understand processes, decisions, source systems, and reporting needs
• Translate ambiguous business needs into clear problem statements and technical designs
• Design and build governed data products across the data stack
• Define canonical domain concepts, grain, facts, dimensions, and business rules
• Work across ERP, PLM, MES, MRP, procurement, manufacturing, quality, inventory, supplier, finance, and operational systems

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a blended data role
• Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end data and analytics solutions
• Strong experience in at least one complex operational domain
• Strong dimensional modeling and semantic design skills
• Hands-on production experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, SQL, and Python/PySpark

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, defense, aviation, autonomous systems, or similarly complex environments
• Experience supporting Supply Chain or Manufacturing capabilities
• Experience with systems such as SAP, Oracle, IFS, or comparable enterprise platforms

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is USD 160,000-240,000 per-year-salary. Shield AI offers a comprehensive benefits package, including bonus, equity, and benefits.
