Senior Accountant II

Electronic Arts is seeking a Senior Accountant II to join their Controllership team in Lyon, France. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting multiple international legal entities across Europe and beyond.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the end-to-end close process for assigned legal entities, ensuring accurate US GAAP and local statutory reporting
• Maintaining an internal control environment, including SOX compliance, and supporting statutory, tax, and regulatory obligations across multiple jurisdictions
• Partnering with Tax, Treasury, Transfer Pricing, Shared Services, and advisors to resolve accounting, reporting, and compliance matters for European operations
• Guiding automation and standardisation projects, improving finance processes, and communicating recommendations and risk assessments to senior leadership

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of progressive experience in audit, accounting, or controllership, including experience within a multinational organisation
• Experience preparing US GAAP and local statutory financial statements for multiple legal entities, including compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
• Experience using Oracle and Power BI, with an interest in AI-enabled tools to improve reporting and business processes
