Engineering Manager, DRIVE OS Communication Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our rapidly growing NvStreams team within NVIDIA DRIVE Software. The NvStreams team plays a critical role in NVIDIA's expansion into artificial intelligence and autonomous vehicles. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and grow a team of highly skilled engineers, drive the development of NvSci technology for next-generation automotive and embedded applications, apply and invent processes to ensure high software quality and reliable schedules, and collaborate with other groups to align technology development with NVIDIA goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow a team of highly skilled engineers.
• Drive development of NvSci technology for next-generation automotive and other embedded applications.
• Apply and invent processes to ensure high software quality and reliable schedules.
• Directly collaborate with other groups to align technology development with NVIDIA goals.

Requirements:

• BS or MS degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent experience.
• 8+ overall years of software development and 3+ years of management experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication regardless of audience or problem complexity.
• Organizational skills to lead projects and drive software development with a matrix team of globally distributed engineers.
• Experience with mentorship and developing engineering staff.
• Embedded software development background.

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous Agile experience, especially with distributed teams and matrix projects.
• Prior leadership of rapidly growing teams.
• Experience with industrial quality standards: ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434.
