Description
We are seeking a certified medical assistant to join our team at Revere Health in Payson, Utah. As a medical assistant, you will play a crucial role in facilitating quality patient care under the supervision of our providers.
Responsibilities:
- Verify patient information by interviewing patients and recording medical history
- Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests
- Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records
- Help with office procedures, injections, and other tasks as requested
- Triage phone messages from patients and respond as directed
- Communicate test and lab results to patients
- Schedule referrals and follow-ups as needed
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment
Qualifications:
- Completion of and certification from an accredited Medical Assistant Program
- CPR certification (or completed within 4 months of hiring)
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to bend, reach, lift, pull, push, and/or carry up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Excellent computer, telephone, and communication skills
- Outstanding customer service, organization, and attention to detail
Hours:
- 4 hours a week, Tuesdays 12:45pm - 5:00pm, with additional hours as needed on a PRN basis
