Description
We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician - Mechanical to join our team at 3M in Quapaw, OK. As a Maintenance Mechanic II, you will have multi-skill level maintenance capabilities, installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment, physical structures, piping, and instrument and electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Leading maintenance activities to keep production equipment operating safely, reliably, and efficiently
- Implementing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, machinery, piping, instruments, and electrical systems
- Determining equipment condition and repair needs through inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair
- Supporting a safe, organized, and compliant work environment by following safety and environmental practices
- Responding to scheduled and emergency maintenance needs
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field (pipefitter, welder, electrician, instrument/electronics technician, HVAC-R, millwright)
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings
