Assistant Content Designer - EA SPORTS™ NHL

The EA SPORTS NHL franchise is revolutionizing sports gaming for millions of players worldwide. As an Assistant Content Designer, you will work with the production and design team to identify and create live content that EA Sports customers desire. This role requires knowledge of hockey, a passion for the sport, and a good eye for product quality and usability.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the NHL Live Team to build and execute the live content plan.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of live content.
• Translate real-world events into live content ideas and plans, often requiring flexible work hours.
• Define goals and opportunities for live content based on Key Performance Indicators.
• Work closely with NHL producers to understand targets and priority changes.
• Communicate progress and quality effectively with the NHL team.
• Develop game-wide relationships and strong engagement with other groups.
• Manage dependencies and coordinate deliverables across teams.
• Contribute to team morale and encourage positive working relationships.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of background in game design and/or production with relevant experience working on a live service.

Competencies:

• Ability to work closely with a live service team throughout the product cycle.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Understanding of recent trends in live service models.
• Creative idea generation and documentation.
• Advocacy for end-user experience.
