Powertrain Debug Engineer | Hybrid Systems

We are seeking a Powertrain Debug Engineer to support hybrid powertrain projects at AVL Iberica.

As a Debug Engineer, you will contribute to keeping critical development and validation activities running smoothly by supporting technical teams across different stages of the vehicle lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Support production, end-of-line, and dealership activities
• Collaborate with calibration teams
• Maintain software for engine test benches, prototype vehicles, and customer vehicles
• Contribute to daily operations of hybrid powertrain development activities

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or similar degree
• Master's degree in automotive-related subjects is desirable
• Understanding of internal combustion engines and power electronics
• Experience with:
• ETAS INCA
• AVL Concerto
• AVL Creta
• Vector CANalyzer
• DDT2000
• Matlab/Simulink or similar tools
• English and Spanish required; French is a plus
• Driving Licence B mandatory
• Minimum 1 year of previous calibration experience
• Experience in hybrid systems preferred
