Network Planning Sales Engineer Intern (Winter 2027)

As a Network Planning Sales Engineer Intern, you will work on pre-sales and post-sales network architecture and planning, optimizing high throughput satellite networks by understanding and trading dozens of parameters.

Responsibilities include:

• Digital payload configuration
• Orbital slot selection and frequency planning
• Antenna system optimization, user coverage area definition
• Gateway location(s) selection
• User terminal selection
• Networking / modem equipment selection and configuration

Requirements:

• Strong ability to optimize systems by juggling many variables
• Process oriented mindset
• Scripting language experience, preferably Python
• Enjoy a fast paced environment

Bonus skills:

• Knack for math
• Ability to craft high quality presentations
• Willingness to travel

The base pay for this position is $29.00 per hour.
