System Modeling & Simulation Engineer

We are seeking a System Modeling & Simulation Engineer to develop and maintain system models for advanced energy systems and electrified powertrain applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining system models for advanced energy systems and electrified powertrain applications.
• Performing dynamic and steady-state simulations to evaluate system behavior and performance.
• Conducting heat, mass, and energy balance calculations to support system design and optimization.
• Parameterizing, calibrating, and validating simulation models using test and supplier data.
• Analyzing operating profiles and assessing system performance under various operating conditions.
• Supporting system architecture and engineering teams through performance studies and technical recommendations.
• Preparing technical reports and presenting simulation results to project stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Master's degree or Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or an equivalent field.
• Experience in system modeling and simulation of thermo-fluid, energy, battery, fuel cell, hydrogen, or automotive systems.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and energy systems.
• Experience with system simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, AVL CRUISE M, GT-SUITE, Amesim, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of dynamic and steady-state modeling methodologies.
• Experience in model parameterization, calibration, and correlation with test data.
• Ability to perform heat, mass, and energy balance calculations.
• Understanding of system architecture, requirements engineering, and performance evaluation processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong English communication skills in an international engineering environment.
