Description
We're seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to be the face of Sainsbury's, delivering customer orders to their doorsteps with energy, warmth, and care.
As a Customer Delivery Driver, you'll:
- Deliver groceries to customers on time and in great condition using a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van
- Complete checks to ensure the van is roadworthy, clean, and organised
- Follow planned routes and drive safely in various locations and conditions
- Move containers weighing up to 15kg and deliver shopping to properties
- Communicate with customers, keeping them informed of any delays or changes
To be part of our team, you'll need:
- A full UK/EU driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Friendly and welcoming demeanour with enthusiasm for helping customers
- Ability to drive a larger vehicle safely and work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to move shopping containers and work in varying conditions
- Initiative, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn and develop
