At Braze, we're a customer engagement platform that empowers brands to deliver great customer experiences. We're seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Security team in Toronto.
As a Senior Security Engineer, you'll protect Braze employees, their devices, and our work locations. You'll investigate malware and advanced threats, secure our SaaS applications, harden internal configurations, propose security architecture improvements, and build alerts and reports to keep the team ahead of risk.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, implementing, and operating security solutions to protect Braze's employees, devices, and infrastructure
- Expanding SIEM and automation capabilities, building and tuning detections, improving alerting, and automating detection and reporting pipelines
- Reviewing and governing MCP and AI agent integrations, setting controls for AI-assisted coding environments, and defining policy for autonomous AI tooling
- Securing SaaS applications and internal systems through policy design, control enforcement, and configuration hardening
- Leading security activities across the enterprise stack, including vulnerability testing and analysis, security event investigation, and evaluation of new tools and technologies
You'll need 5+ years of Security Engineering experience with a strong focus on enterprise security, network security, and endpoint security. You'll also need experience working in a corporate security organization, hands-on technical expertise, and professional experience with the modern tech stack and protecting SaaS applications.
In terms of compensation, the pay range for this position is expected to be between CA$133,000 - CA$209,000/year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between CA$148,000 - CA$232,000/year.
