Physical Therapist I - Outpatient - Atrium Health Physical Therapy Greater Charlotte Float - FT

We are seeking a Physical Therapist I - Outpatient to join our team at Atrium Health Physical Therapy in the Greater Charlotte area. As a float position, you will provide clinical coverage to various clinics based on need.

Responsibilities:

• Provide age-appropriate patient care, demonstrating knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan
• Interpret medical records and complete evaluations, establishing patient care plans using evidence-based interventions
• Set functional goals with patients and caregivers, monitoring outcomes and adjusting plans as needed
• Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, treatment, and home instructions
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, staff, and external customers
• Complete documentation, including patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries
• Maintain compliance with insurance guidelines and department policies

Requirements:

• Physical Therapy license in the state of employment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
• Intermediate computer skills and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
