Senior Systems Analyst - Post-Trade Systems (Derivatives Clearing) - IT

The IT Post-Trade Systems department is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to develop and maintain its Derivatives Clearing systems.

The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting technology solutions, including business requirement analysis, functional specification preparation, system design and development, software quality assurance testing, testing tool development, production implementation, and ongoing production support.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services for Post-Trade systems.
• Participate in system development activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Develop and maintain automated testing tools.
• Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing activities.
• Investigate and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Collaborate with business users to deliver technology solutions that meet business requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and support materials.
• Support production releases, system monitoring, and on-call activities when required.
• Contribute to system performance tuning, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT application development (SDLC), preferably within the financial industry.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, JavaScript, Python, object-oriented design principles, and database technologies on Linux platforms.
• Familiarity with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Selenium, Cucumber or equivalent technologies/tools.
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
