Description
The GML team (Global Merchant Lending) at PayPal is looking for a Software Engineer to develop efficient, elegant, and clean code for lending products like PayPal Working Capital and PayPal Business Loan.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Guide junior engineers and provide technical and business-related guidance
- Operate with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices
Requirements:
- 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Expertise in React, Next.js, and Express to build and optimize modern web applications
- Awareness of testing frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, JEST
- Experience in performance aspects like caching, code splitting, lazy loading, pagination, etc & Security aspects like authentication, CORS, xss
