Description
We are seeking an Intermediate Mechanical and Industrial Piping Designer to join our team in Canada.
As an Intermediate Mechanical and Industrial Piping Designer, you will play a key role in designing and modelling complex installations for the mining and industrial sectors. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative technical solutions that meet high standards of quality, safety, and performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing drawings, plans, and diagrams using CAD software
- Ensuring compliance with production standards and techniques
- Creating 3D models and simple layouts
- Assisting engineers with routine calculations
- Visiting sites to collect data
- Controlling and cataloging documentation
- Attending design team meetings
- Performing other related tasks
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- 5 years of relevant experience in engineering design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Plan 3D, Inventor, and Revit
- Experience in consulting engineering
- Initiative and attention to detail
- Teamwork and adaptability skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Bilingualism (English and French)

Salary range:
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $34.20 - $45.30
- MB & ON: $31.20 - $43.00
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $30.90 - $41.00
