Energy & Infrastructure Counsel

As Commercial Counsel at SpaceXAI, you'll provide legal support for large physical infrastructure transactions and development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead negotiation and structuring of development deals, real estate transactions, and capital equipment purchases.
• Negotiate and manage power-related contracts, including interconnection agreements and power purchase agreements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts and project documents for facilities with high power requirements.
• Support financing structures, tax incentives, and permitting activities.
• Partner with engineering, security, procurement, and finance teams to align legal terms with technical and commercial requirements.
• Coordinate with specialized outside counsel on complex matters.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of legal experience, ideally with innovative technology or development companies, and/or top law firms.
• Deep experience in commercial contracting for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of managing heavy workloads and prioritizing tasks to meet aggressive business timelines.
• Tech-savvy with an understanding or interest in data centers, power, and emerging AI technologies.
• JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $200,000 - $230,000 USD
