Galley Steward - The Seven Seas Group

As a Galley Steward with Princess Cruises, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the galley area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow Princess Cruises' operational methods and seek advice from the Galley Supervisor if necessary.
• Adhere to USPHS principles and Princess Cruises procedures.
• Work as part of a cleaning team to clean and sanitize galley equipment and service locations.
• Recycle cooking service equipment before, during, and after service.
• Assist with unloading and storing food deliveries.
• Participate in scheduled deep cleaning and everyday cleaning operations.
• Report equipment defects to the Galley Supervisor, Executive Chef, or Food Manager.
• Perform duties in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Conduct galley cleaning in compliance with Princess Cruises' environmental regulations and objectives.
• Perform General Emergency Organization duties as directed.
• Demonstrate commitment to the Company's values, beliefs, goals, and initiatives.
• Act as a Company representative and portray a positive image of Princess Cruises.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

• At least one year of experience as a Kitchen Steward or Dishwasher in large restaurants, hotels, or the cruise industry.
• Working knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices and procedures in the food service industry.
• Good oral and written command of the English language.
• Motivation to excel in all aspects of job duties and responsibilities.
• Personable communicator with outstanding social skills and a warm, friendly, and caring personality.
• Commitment to establish and maintain courteous and professional working relationships in a diverse cultural environment.
