Content Creator Intern (Fall 2026)

Astranis is looking for a Content Creator Intern to help tell captivating stories as the company scales. The intern will work closely with the Creative team to film and edit videos, create social media content, and learn about the fast-growing aerospace company.

Responsibilities:

• Bring creative concepts and scripts to life through videos that turn complex technology into engaging stories.
• Film interviews, behind-the-scenes content, and company events.
• Edit interviews and footage into compelling long-form and short-form videos.
• Capture videos that showcase Astranis' satellites, manufacturing processes, and the people behind its missions.
• Support video shoots, including camera setup, lighting, audio, and equipment preparation.
• Organize footage, project files, and creative assets to keep projects running smoothly.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in film, media production, or a related field, or a recent graduate (within 1 year).
• A portfolio showcasing creativity and storytelling through video.
• Basic experience filming and editing video, with familiarity with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Interest in aerospace, technology, or defense sectors.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities can shift quickly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams, ask good questions, and incorporate feedback.
• Self-starter who can take initiative, work independently, and follow through on assigned projects.
• Able to work in the office 5 days a week.

Bonus skills:

• Experience working on larger productions as a director of photography (DP) or camera operator.
• Experience editing interviews, documentaries, or other story-driven videos.
• Passion for space technology and connecting the world.
• Previous internship experience in video production, content creation, or marketing.

The base pay for this position is $29.00 per hour.
