Senior BSA/AML Investigator

SpaceXAI seeks an experienced BSA/AML Investigator to detect, prevent, and report financial crimes as part of the Legal & Compliance Team.

The role involves maintaining an effective BSA/AML and Sanctions compliance program for X Money, focusing on the 5 pillars of an effective program.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve complex alerts and cases from transaction monitoring systems.
• Prepare, review, and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
• Assist with KYC and onboarding matters.
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on high-risk users and transactions.
• Help tune and optimize transaction monitoring rules.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with internal teams.
• Stay updated on evolving BSA/AML/OFAC regulations and financial crime trends.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in AML, preferably in fintech or banking.
• Familiarity with digital payments and financial crime risks.
• Experience preparing SARs and knowledge of BSA/AML laws.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory bodies and their guidelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability to evolving technologies and regulations.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $125,000 - $145,000 USD
