Supply Chain Intern

Job Overview

We're seeking a Supply Chain Intern to join our team at Arc's headquarters in Torrance, CA, from June 14th to August 20th, 2027. As a Supply Chain Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our supply chain operations, analyzing data to improve efficiency, and collaborating with various teams.

Responsibilities

• Support critical supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, supplier management, logistics, and inventory optimization.
• Analyze supply chain data to improve forecasting, bill of material management, cost savings, and operational efficiency.
• Work closely with engineering, production, and finance teams to streamline part readiness and material flow.
• Contribute to implementing best practices in sourcing, logistics, and supplier relationship management.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and intense startup environment.
• Ownership of projects from beginning to end, with minimal oversight.
• Superb analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Exposure to manufacturing methods for engineering parts.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with high-performance electric vehicles, solar cars, Formula SAE, or similar.
• First-hand experience operating boats.
• Fluency with common computer software, including SQL, spreadsheets, email, and resource planning programs.
• Demonstrated efficiency in time management, interpersonal communication, and organization.
• Comfortable pushing a fast but sustainable pace.
• Enthusiasm for boating and clean energy.
