Junior Composite Design Engineer

TGR Haas F1 Team, a stalwart of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, is seeking a Junior Composite Design Engineer to join their team in Maranello, Italy.

The role involves supporting day-to-day operations within the composite design department, working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure high standards of service, compliance, and performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting design studies for the initial concept stage of the car design program
• Having a knowledge of the F1 technical regulations
• Owning and completing design projects for various composite-related assemblies
• Carrying out day-to-day tasks efficiently and within agreed timescales
• Building positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
• Adhering to relevant legislation, organisational policies, and internal controls

The ideal candidate will have:

• A GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent
• An internship or Formula Student experience in a motorsport environment
• A Mechanical Engineering degree with knowledge of composite materials
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team
• Resilience and composure in high-pressure environments

The role requires flexibility, including extended hours, travel, and weekend work during race seasons or critical development phases.
