  • Own the delivery of the front door for finance events, the accounting ledger and engine, ensuring every event is posted exactly once and can be traced back to its source.
  • Be accountable for production services used by other engineering teams, such as tax and collections services in the billing flow.
  • Ensure finance applications and agents have the necessary platform support, including SDKs, scoped access, SOX guardrails, observability, and required capabilities.

  • Experience hiring and growing engineers, and setting engineering standards.
  • Ability to work across functions with upstream engineering teams, finance, and auditors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of engineering management experience, with 8+ years total in the industry.
  • Experience building developer platforms or paved paths used by other builders.
  • Familiarity with Go and streaming systems such as Pub/Sub or Kafka.

Logistics

  • Annual salary: $320,000 - $405,000 USD.
  • Location-based hybrid policy: 25% office time.
