The GT Production Technician is responsible for production of quality technical materials and intermediates in a safe and efficient manner. Uses knowledge of products, raw materials, and operating procedures to control equipment that processes substances into specified products.
Responsibilities include:
- Safe operation of chemical processing equipment
- Reading and understanding Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Staging raw and finished materials
- Taking required samples during production process
- Decontaminating equipment and piping for maintenance or disposal
- Utilizing Personal Protective Equipment Matrix
- Maintaining inventories of disposable, production, and safety-related materials
- Recognizing material compatibilities
- Conducting charging and filling operations
- Maintaining plant Hazard Communication labeling program
- Performing general housekeeping duties throughout the plant area
- Assisting in product changeover activities

Required Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED with at least that level in reading comprehension, writing, and math
- Basic knowledge of and ability to use information technology systems and applications
- Willingness to climb with the ability to perform elevated work utilizing portable ladders and fall protection equipment
- Position involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting up to 60 lbs
- Able to work rotating shift, including required overtime hours and weekends to support the business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing or Agriculture Operations experience, Military, or similar experience
- Experience operating a fork truck
- Good mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Personal focus on safety, teamwork, and adaptability
- Strong written & verbal communication skills and the ability to listen
- Able to work without direct supervision in a diverse team environment
