Description
This role supports the Payments Processing Finance team in managing daily finance operations across payment processing activities, focusing on transaction economics and merchant profitability analysis.
You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to build strong partnerships and unlock value through data-driven insights.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Forecasting, budgeting, month-end closing, financial/deal modeling, performance measurement, and reporting activities
- Developing deep expertise in payment processing metrics to proactively identify key business drivers and trends
- Communicating results effectively to cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Corporate Finance, and Product
- Streamlining, improving, and automating financial workstreams and processes to drive operational efficiency
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree
- Strong modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to translate large, complex datasets into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for senior leadership
- Proficiency in SQL, advanced Excel modeling skills, and experience with visualization and data tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SQL
The base pay for this role will depend on location and experience, with an expected range of $98,000 to $140,250 annually in San Jose, California.
