HR Consultant

As a HR Consultant at Gusto, you will drive people operations for designated small business clients. You will excel in dynamic environments, applying your passion for developing and refining processes and practices. You will leverage cutting-edge technology and systems to drive efficiency within the organization you support.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead organizations to achieve People objectives, including attracting, hiring, and onboarding great talent, developing and retaining staff, and achieving compliance goals.
• Influence business and talent initiatives that support short and long-term business goals.
• Initiate and maintain effective communications with leadership and employees; provide coaching and guidance on performance management and employee productivity.
• Engage in strategic workforce planning, identifying competency and talent gaps, and introducing succession planning.
• Identify and translate current and future business needs into comprehensive People Plans.
• Provide organizational development support through interventions such as organization design and leadership coaching.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
• Process and maintain client HR data, including employee onboarding and offboarding, and ensure clients stay up-to-date on HR regulations and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of HR experience as a People Operations Specialist and/or HR Generalist.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong proficiency with cutting-edge technology and HR software.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Significant experience with workforce analytics.
• Demonstrated agility and ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.

Salary range: $98,000 - $115,000/year in Denver and most other major cities, and $119,000 - $140,000/year for New York & San Francisco
