HP IQ's Security Team is working on innovative projects, focusing on hardware and services that transform the computing experience. As a Software Product Security Intern, you will play a crucial role in securing users' devices, data, and HP IQ's infrastructure.
Responsibilities As a software engineering intern, you will be tasked with:
- Balancing exceptional user experiences with strong security measures
- Contributing to the development of secure products and services
- Collaborating with the security team to identify and mitigate potential threats
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree (Bachelor's or Graduate) in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Strong software engineering skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment
- Interest in privacy and security, as well as product design and development
- Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of security concepts, including cryptography, access control, authorization, network security, and software security
- Ability to think critically and approach problems with a security-focused mindset

Internship Details
- Hourly pay range: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
