We are seeking a skilled Test & Evaluation Engineer to join our team at Anduril Industries in Llanbedr, Wales, UK. As a Test & Evaluation Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and reporting of testing maritime and submersible products.
Your primary duties will include working within a dynamic team of multidisciplinary engineers, specialists, and technicians to develop new submersible products; preparing for trial deployments by identifying, sourcing, and kitting test and support equipment; coordinating and supporting deployment logistics; and conducting daily inspections and system checks before and after operations. You will also execute day-to-day test operations, perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and upgrades in the field, and provide constructive feedback to design and manufacturing teams.
To be successful in this role, you will need experience of product development or certification within a regulated industry such as maritime, aerospace, or energy; proficiency in interpreting technical documentation; and experience performing functional checkouts and tests, and diagnosing issues discovered during these processes. You will also need familiarity with Defence and Civil Maritime Regulations in the context of sub-surface test operations, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to own a variety of tasks in an autonomous environment.
