Job Overview As a License Scheduling Manager, you will manage license scheduling policy across the estate, model license demand, tune allocation policy, and build telemetry systems to optimize license utilization.
Responsibilities
- Manage license scheduling policy, including hierarchical project shares and distribution policies
- Model license demand against entitlement to inform procurement decisions
- Tune allocation policy to ensure flawless execution during peak contention periods
- Develop telemetry systems to track license utilization and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with CAD and project teams to translate business priorities into effective share configurations
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in EDA compute, HPC, or a comparable environment with contended licensed resources
- Practical experience with commercial license managers and batch schedulers
- Data proficiency in Python and SQL
Nice to Have
- Experience with dedicated license scheduling layers and hierarchical project share builds
- Proven track record of managing license allocation during tape-out periods
- Familiarity with commercial EDA licensing models and evidence-based utilization data analysis
