Responsibilities

  • Manage license scheduling policy, including hierarchical project shares and distribution policies
  • Model license demand against entitlement to inform procurement decisions
  • Tune allocation policy to ensure flawless execution during peak contention periods
  • Develop telemetry systems to track license utilization and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with CAD and project teams to translate business priorities into effective share configurations

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in EDA compute, HPC, or a comparable environment with contended licensed resources
  • Practical experience with commercial license managers and batch schedulers
  • Data proficiency in Python and SQL

Nice to Have

  • Experience with dedicated license scheduling layers and hierarchical project share builds
  • Proven track record of managing license allocation during tape-out periods
  • Familiarity with commercial EDA licensing models and evidence-based utilization data analysis
