Sr Manager, Production Operations

Job Overview

We're seeking a Sr Manager, Production Operations to lead our production team at Arc, a company pioneering 100% electric boats. You'll report to the Sr Director, Operations and work closely with a lean, high-trust team.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead a team of production supervisors, lead technicians, and hourly/non-exempt technicians.
• Own the production schedule end-to-end.
• Identify schedule risks, capacity constraints, and resource gaps; escalate critical blockers and facilitate cross-functional resolution.
• Develop short-, medium-, and long-range production plans considering labor capacity, material availability, tooling, and facility constraints.
• Partner with Quality to ensure production non-conformances are identified, documented, and addressed.
• Identify and execute labor and cost-efficiency improvements.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient production environment with Facilities and EHS.
• Identify skill gaps and develop or procure advanced skill programs.
• Partner with the People team on workforce relations matters.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of experience in aerospace, automotive, aviation, nuclear, or other manufacturing environments.
• 5+ years of experience leading production in a high-quality, precision manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, systems integration, and hardware requirements.
• Track record of building and executing continuous improvement programs.
• Experience working in a startup or high-growth manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with total cost equation improvement.
• Composites manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with aerospace or defense quality management systems.
• Comfortable with a fast but sustainable pace.
• Enthusiasm for boating and clean energy.
