Investment Analyst

We are seeking an Investment Analyst to join our Asia General Account Investment team, which serves as the in-house investment manager for Manulife's Asia Segment. The successful candidate will collaborate with portfolio managers to support fixed income investment activities across global markets, assist in preparing investment reports, and conduct analytical projects to enhance team efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with portfolio managers to support fixed income investment activities across global markets
• Assist in preparing investment reports and responding to ad-hoc requests
• Conduct analytical projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency
• Gain hands-on exposure to fixed income markets and a variety of financial instruments

Requirements:

• Undergraduate graduate with a major in finance, economics, or business administration, or Master of Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related subjects
• Strong academic achievement
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting, financial or investment, and strong analytical techniques
• Familiarity with a variety of financial products and services
• Agile, creative, and able to show initiative while working in a challenging and fast-paced environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Solid computer experience in Office with a strong aptitude for learning new software packages
• Great attention to detail and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Result-oriented and self-motivated
