Prime Brokerage Strats, Associate/Vice President

We are seeking a Prime Brokerage Strats, Associate/Vice President to join our team in the Prime Brokerage and Institutional Equity division.

As a global leader in financial services, Morgan Stanley provides intellectual insights and innovative product solutions to clients worldwide, helping them generate alpha.

Responsibilities:

• Develop reporting and analytics for Prime Brokerage client metrics
• Analyze inventory efficiency
• Develop analytics and ad-hoc solutions to support new products
• Enhance and develop strategic tools for Sales and Trading
• Collaborate with other divisions to improve desk workflow, efficiency, and risk controls
• Develop technical enhancements to trading flows to meet trader, client, risk, or regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Financial Math, or a related quantitative field
• Knowledge of coding languages such as Python, Q/KDB+, SQL, C++, C#, or Java
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to solve complex problems requiring deep analytical reasoning and quantitative analysis
• Collaborative, adaptable, and a team player with a strong work ethic
