Description
We are seeking a Senior Bridge Inspector to join our team in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. As a Senior Bridge Inspector, you will undertake principal, general, and special inspections of bridges and other highways structures across the region. You will use your experience to provide technical input to projects, project briefs, and proposals, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Welfare, and CDM responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of a highly collaborative team of approximately 75 people. You will work independently and as part of a team to deliver bridge maintenance designs, provide technical input to project briefs and proposals, and contribute to technical excellence and innovation within the team.
The ideal candidate will have experience of undertaking Principal Inspection, General Inspections, and Special Inspections of Bridges and other Highway Structures to DMRB and the Inspection Manual for Highway Structures. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, provide technical input to project briefs and proposals, and understand the importance of compliance with Health, Safety, and Welfare and CDM responsibilities.
