Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems (SI&WS) Ground and Mission Systems Engineering (GMSE) are looking for a DevOps Developer (Experienced or Senior) to join our Engineering Analytics team.
The SI&WS GMSE division creates next-generation products and services for the BDS business unit, working with commercial and proprietary customers to develop cutting-edge technologies in space.
As a DevOps Developer, you will apply modern DevSecOps/GitOps practices to streamline integration and test activities, stand up and maintain secure test environments, drive continuous improvement of integration and test processes, automate and troubleshoot development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, and security controls.
Responsibilities:
- Apply modern DevSecOps/GitOps practices (including CI/CD pipelines, automated configuration/testing, containerized deployments, and infrastructure as code)
- Stand up, configure, and maintain secure test environments leveraging cloud-native and virtualized resources
- Drive continuous improvement of integration and test processes, incorporating automation, metrics, and lessons learned
- Automate, develop, monitor, improve, and troubleshoot across development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration processes, and security controls
- Review, develop, document, and maintain system requirements and traceability
- Interface with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external customers
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with an adjudicated polygraph
- 3+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Linux, Ansible, Terraform, JIRA, and Confluence
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Packer, Nessus, Trivy, AWS, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, mTLS, cert-manager, Harbor, Postgres, Windows, Shell, and Python Scripting
- Active CompTIA Security+ certification

Salary Range:
- Experienced (Level 3): $119,850.00 - $162,150.00
- Senior (Level 4): $146,200.00 - $197,800.00
