Job Summary
As the Director of Legal Operations at CoreWeave, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Legal and Government Affairs (LGA) team. You will be responsible for managing the technology and processes that power LGA's day-to-day work, including legal tech stack, vendor management, AI adoption, and operational metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage core legal tools and platforms, including CLM, matter management, AI-enabled legal platforms, e-discovery, and e-billing.
- Oversee professional services and vendor management, including outside counsel and vendor spend process and management.
- Coordinate the LGA budget, forecasting, and accruals, driving spend discipline, billing accuracy, and cost predictability.
- Develop and track metrics, reporting, and OKRs, partnering with LGA leadership to define team health and business impact metrics.
- Lead LGA's AI evolution, adoption, and enablement in partnership with the CIO-IT team.
- Provide cross-vertical support across LGA's legal verticals as priorities and workload shift.
- Build, manage, and develop a high-performing legal operations team through hiring, coaching, and performance calibration.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, procurement, IT, security, privacy, compliance, sales, and other stakeholder teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in legal operations, preferably at a fast-paced high-growth technology, cloud, or infrastructure company.
- Demonstrated track record of team leadership and scaling a legal operations team.
- Experience managing outside-counsel billing platforms, e-billing, vendor management, invoicing, budget coordination, and accruals of an in-house legal department.
- Strong command of Legal and Government Affairs metrics and OKR/KPI development.
- Familiarity with responsible AI governance implementation.
