Collaborating Physician, Pediatrics (Per Diem)

Job Overview

As a Collaborating Physician, Pediatrics at Pomelo Care, you will provide medical oversight and collaborative clinical support to a multi-disciplinary team focused on improving perinatal, infant, and women's health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain collaborative supervision relationships with advanced practice providers as outlined by state requirements
• Provide clinical support to advanced practice providers
• Complete chart reviews of care provided by advanced practice providers

Requirements

• Resident of South Carolina
• 5+ years practicing as an attending physician
• Experience working with NPs
• Passion for improving clinical outcomes with exceptional organization and phenomenal interpersonal and communication skills
• Medical degree from an accredited US medical school
• Successful completion of an accredited US residency program in Pediatrics or Family Medicine with additional experience in pediatrics
• Active, unrestricted license to practice in South Carolina and ability to maintain licensure
• Active certification with American Board of Pediatrics or American Academy of Family Physicians
