Ford of Canada is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their Manufacturing team in Windsor, Ontario. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art smart vehicles and contribute to the company's commitment to efficiency and quality.
The Production Supervisor role is a critical leadership position that involves leading a dedicated hourly team, fostering an environment where team members can excel, and directly impacting the quality and efficiency of operations.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a champion of workplace safety, enforcing regulations and promoting a culture of vigilance.
- Lead and direct a team to consistently produce high-quality products and meet or exceed production targets.
- Prioritize critical tasks, allocate human resources efficiently, and address safety and quality issues promptly.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating the team to achieve shared goals.
- Utilize data and insights to drive improvements in efficiency and quality.
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies, improve processes, and drive innovation.
- Proactively address conflicts, facilitate mutually acceptable solutions, and build strong working relationships.
- Champion accountability, manage performance, and ensure fairness.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to continuously improve operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of equivalent supervisory, manufacturing, or relevant experience.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodology is preferred.
Salary and Benefits:
- The expected annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00 - $124,000.00.
- Individuals may be eligible to participate in the Annual Compensation bonus program.
