IT Support Engineer

We’re looking for an IT Support Engineer based out of our New York office. This is a hybrid role - 4 days per week on-site and one day working from home.

Responsibilities

• Device lifecycle management: assist with laptop procurement, setup, returns, and secure wiping
• Office IT support: provide on-hand support to our colleagues in our New York office, as well as support with expansions and/or office buildouts
• AV support: ensure meeting rooms and AV equipment are running reliably
• End-user support: be the first point of contact for the team by logging, prioritising and resolving support tickets in a timely manner, keeping end users informed throughout
• Onboarding: run IT onboarding calls for new joiners
• New IT projects: contribute to IT initiatives
• Automation and tooling: build automations and Slack bots to streamline repetitive work
• Documentation: write and maintain clear internal IT documentation and guides (fixes, processes and playbooks) to continue building out our internal knowledge base

Requirements

• A friendly, end-user focused attitude. You genuinely enjoy helping people solve problems
• Strong organisational skills, attention to details and a proactive mindset
• Solid IT fundamentals (macOS, iOS and Android Operating systems, networking basics, SaaS tooling, AV systems etc.)
• Hands-on experience with an MDM platform (Jamf, Kandji, Fleet or similar)
• Experience with Okta (or similar IdP) and understanding of access management principles, SSO, MFA and user/group management
• A willingness to learn new tools and technologies quickly
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with a knack for writing helpful documentation

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in a high growth / startup environment
• Experience in a customer or public-facing role
• Experience with Agentic AI tooling
• Familiarity with bash scripting
