Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing mechanical building services designs for Railway Stations and other Railway Buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct heat load calculations, duct and pipe sizing, and pressure drop calculations.
- Select HVAC equipment such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, boilers, fans, and pumps.
- Prepare technical submittals.
- Promote technical excellence in all projects.
- Undertake technical reviews, peer reviews, and contribute to the design.
- Develop positive professional relationships with the WSP Australian Team.
- Supervise, coordinate, and support other engineers and CAD technicians.
- Ensure health and safety is embedded into all work practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-8 years of experience in MEP mechanical design.
- Proven experience in HVAC design for Railway Station Building Services.
- Knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, MEP Revit, MicroStation, and other drafting software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English with an excellent understanding of technical terminology.
