As a Senior Research Scientist, you will:
- Lead and contribute to a small team's direction with expertise and ideas.
- Create mathematically principled solutions to complex information science problems.
- Prototype state-of-the-art algorithms in an agile environment.
- Implement high-performance software for tactical systems and web applications.
- Use high-fidelity modeling, simulation environments, and analysis tools to quantify technology benefits.
- Ensure successful outcomes for customers with mission-critical needs.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers about your work.
Required qualifications include:
- An M.S. or Ph.D. in Applied or Computational Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Controls and Dynamical Systems, Aerospace Engineering, Statistics and Probability, or a related field.
- A record of academic excellence with experience in applied mathematics, engineering, scientific computing, and probability.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
