Retail Supervisor

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive Retail Supervisor to join the busy trading team at WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre.

The successful applicant will work alongside the Retail Assistant Manager to develop an inspirational and vibrant trading environment that provides an excellent visitor experience. You will work to maximise sales, consistently delivering or exceeding against agreed targets to generate profit that supports the conservation work of WWT. You will be supporting team members within the department, championing great customer service.

This position is for 13.5 hours per week working 2 days from 7 and includes weekend and bank holiday working.

The successful candidate will:

• display excellent customer service
• have experience working with high volume tills and EPOS systems
• be confident in cash handling and till reconciliation
• have experience planning and prioritising tasks
• have the ability to motivate and lead a team.
