## Description

We are seeking a qualified New Model Weld Senior Project Engineer to join our team at American Honda Motor Company in Greensburg, Indiana. The successful candidate will support early feasibility studies, develop department-specific project strategies, and coordinate build activities.

The role involves:

- Reviewing the Weld Department business plan and understanding Honda's vision for future products

- Investigating the impact of new manufacturing technology and specifications

- Coordinating and supporting drawing reviews, virtual builds, and Gebas (CRFs)

- Mentoring the project team for PPH, IAP Weld-specific characteristics

- Evaluating and reporting on project progress

- Coordinating on/off-line build activities and loss planning

- Setting and confirming build orders, mentoring the project team for part sorting and VIN machine entry

- Tracking pending items to closure and mentoring the project team for timely completion

- Leading feedback summaries and mentoring the project team for S,Q,D feedback summaries

The ideal candidate will have:

- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience

- 5+ years of relevant experience, based on education

- 3D modelling experience (CATIA preferred)

- Previous knowledge with Honda design systems and cost management skills
