## Description

Amazon seeks a Senior Finance Analyst to support its growing European Amazon Advertising business. Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of advertising and ecommerce and offers advertisers a rich array of innovative advertising solutions across Amazon’s mobile and desktop websites, proprietary devices and DSP solutions.

The right candidate will be a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for financial controllership, planning and analytical insights on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. They will conduct in-depth analysis to uncover opportunities or risks and work closely with sales and finance teams.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide weekly revenue and sales inputs to various stakeholders, including sales and finance teams and leadership.

- Participate in the quarterly planning process across EU5 and Amazon's full Advertising product suite.

- Conduct deep dives into insights to help drive sales team efforts where opportunities exist.

- Manage OPEX and Headcount reporting and budgets.

- Automate recurring reporting using AI.

**About the Team:** The EU Ad Sales Finance team supports the growing EU Ads business by partnering with the EU Ad Sales teams based in UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. This role is part of the Financial Planning & BI Analytics Finance team with a strong mandate to maximise the long-term growth of Amazon via optimised planning and performance reviews.

**Basic Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or a Bachelor's degree and experience in quantitative role.

- Six Sigma Black Belt.

- Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field.

- Experience in accounts receivable or account payable.

- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.

- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis.

- Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes.

- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- MBA, or CPA.

- Knowledge of Tableau.

- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects.

- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools.
