## Description

We are seeking a part-time Front Desk Agent to join our team at Holiday Inn Dulles, starting at $18/hour.

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for anticipating guest needs, exceeding expectations, and implementing creative solutions to provide exceptional service. You will process check-ins/outs, assist guests with reservations and requests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner, while following our high standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guests in a friendly and positive manner

- Process check-ins and check-outs, verify billing, create reservations, and process special requests

- Assist guests by having knowledge of hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services

- Work as a team player in meeting guests' needs, and actively contribute to the efforts of other departments when necessary

- Follow proper selling techniques and ensure strategies are utilised to maximise room revenues

- Monitor room availability, follow restrictions, and all booking policies and procedures

- Drive sales and maximise revenue by up-selling rooms and amenities

- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company regulations

Required Skills and Experience:

- High school diploma or GED required

- 1+ years prior guest service experience required, preferably in a hospitality setting

- Excellent verbal communication skills needed

- Attention to detail, customer-focused, and the ability to perform job duties in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis
