## Description

The RBC Wealth Management IT team is seeking an IT leader with experience in the banking sector to shape our product portfolio for years to come.

In this role, you will be responsible for internal technology development, vendor partnerships, and managing successful implementation of deposit and banking solutions.

**Responsibilities**

- Manage the implementation of multiple concurrent initiatives of varying complexity in a time-efficient manner.

- Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks, and mitigate and escalate where appropriate.

- Manage a team of IT resources providing day-to-day work direction, coaching, and professional development, and performance management.

- Collaborate and contribute to cross-functional enterprise initiatives and manage the effective implementation of assigned deliverables.

- Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners.

**Requirements**

- Undergraduate degree in an IT field such as computer science or management information systems, or equivalent work experience in an IT field.

- 8-10 years of IT management experience, preferably in the financial services sector.

- A strong understanding of technology and financial services industry – specifically looking for experience with deposits and lending processes.

- Experience working with and managing software and service providers in the banking industry.

**Nice-to-have**

- Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publicly traded corporation.

- Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers.

- Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $140,000-$230,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions, and business needs.
